This years activities is slightly different as it will also involve, for the first time, The Castle Tavern (formerly The Harlequin) which was purchased in February and has introduced Real Ales, Malt Whisky and Food served all day and every day.

The joint venture for the week will have at your disposal our Courtesy Coach to ferry you between both venues as the selection of beers on offer will be different in each. To make it easier for small groups or individuals the Minibus will leave the Tavern on each day, at 12 noon, 3pm, 6pm and 9pm but special trips can be arranged on request.

We will have our usual full menu and daily specials but please try our ‘Seafood  Special’  consisting  of  smoked  mackerel,  prawns,

smoked salmon served with salad and marie rose sauce which will be available during the festival to enjoy with the many ales on offer.

Our piper will kick-off at the Tavern on friday evening and during the week entertainment and jamming sessions will take place.

You will find a separate slip inside to complete and hand back when you decide what your favourite ale is, we will then tote up the votes and inform the Brewery of the Festival Winner of the year.
